JOINING REAL · AGENTS ACROSS THE U.S.

Your next chapter. Wherever you work.

A joining guide for licensed agents across the United States. Explore Real’s model, then confirm your state’s requirements with Real’s onboarding team.

START WITH YOUR BUSINESS

A conversation with Cory.
A plan for your state.

I welcome conversations with agents across the country about Real’s model and sponsorship. Tell me where you’re licensed, how you work, and what you want to understand before considering a move.

  • Keep your active license, state, board, and MLS details handy.
  • Ask about your market’s broker support and onboarding requirements.
  • Review current contracts, active listings, and pending transactions.
  • Keep brokerage affiliation, sponsorship, and team membership as separate decisions.

STEP 01

Review the fit for your business

Discuss your questions with Cory and review Real’s current model, fees, and proposed agreement. Honor your existing brokerage contracts and confirm any transition obligations with the appropriate professionals.

STEP 02

Complete Real’s official application

Provide your license, state, board, and MLS information through Real’s secure application. Review the Independent Contractor Agreement and addenda, and pay the applicable fees. Real determines eligibility and approves affiliation.

STEP 03

Make your sponsor choice

Sponsorship is voluntary. Choose the agent who most influenced your decision to join. Confirm the name in your application and Sponsorship Addendum before signing; direct any uncertainty to Real’s onboarding team.

STEP 04

Follow the process for your state

Use Real’s state-specific license transfer instructions. Coordinate board and MLS updates, advertising, and any permitted listing or transaction transfers with Real and the appropriate brokers. Timing and requirements vary by state.

Support for the place you work.

Cory is a Washington Managing Broker. Your conversations can cover the company model and sponsorship, while Real’s onboarding team and the appropriate state broker handle local licensing, affiliation, and brokerage requirements.

A sponsor relationship does not enroll you in Williams Ave. Real Estate. Team membership and leadership arrangements require their own review with Real.

Find your state’s transfer instructions.

Real maintains a U.S. directory of state-specific license transfer guides. Start there, then ask onboarding to confirm the steps for every state where you want to affiliate.
